The Well-being Programme at IFLRY is dedicated to raising awareness about the crucial importance of mental health in the political sphere. Our mission is to advocate for mental health awareness and support within political environments, recognizing the unique stressors and challenges faced by individuals in these roles. Through educational initiatives, campaigns, and resources, we strive to promote a culture of mental well-being, destigmatize discussions around mental health issues, and provide support networks for politicians and political activists. By prioritizing mental health, we aim to foster healthier, more resilient political communities where individuals can thrive both personally and professionally.

The Programme Manager is responsible for:

  • Facilitate clear and transparent communication with the IFLRY Bureau, ensuring regular updates and detailed reports on the well-being programme’s activities, outcomes, and impact.
  • Coordinate Super Sunday sessions and advocacy campaigns dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, self-care practices, and holistic well-being among participants.
  • Utilize psychological insights and counseling expertise to develop evidence-based policy recommendations and resolutions aimed at addressing mental health challenges and improving overall well-being within the organization and beyond.
  • Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns to amplify the reach and impact of well-being initiatives, fostering online communities and promoting positive mental health practices among diverse audiences.
