The Human Rights Programme is dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights worldwide, focusing on issues such as freedom of expression, minority rights, and anti-discrimination. Grounded in principles of equality, dignity, and justice, our program ensures that all individuals have access to their fundamental rights and opportunities. Through advocacy, education, and action, including training and campaigns, we strive to create a world where human rights are universally recognized and respected. By championing civil and political rights, protecting vulnerable groups, and fostering a more just and equitable society.
The Programme Manager is responsible for:
- Facilitate transparent and regular communication with the IFLRY Bureau, providing comprehensive updates and reports on human rights activities, progress, and challenges.
- Coordinate impactful human rights advocacy initiatives, amplifying voices and addressing pressing issues globally while respecting cultural sensitivities and local contexts.
- Foster collaboration with international human rights organizations, leveraging collective expertise and resources to advance shared goals and address systemic injustices.
- Organize training sessions and awareness campaigns to empower individuals with knowledge of their rights and equip them with tools for advocacy and action.
- Plan and execute Super Sunday sessions and advocacy campaigns dedicated to promoting human rights, sparking dialogue, and mobilizing support for critical causes.
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations and resolutions aimed at promoting and protecting human rights, advocating for legislative and institutional changes that uphold dignity and equality for all.
