Pressing climate issues in the Middle East and Central Asia – Libel’s workshop

The workshop will have two aims. Firstly, it will focus on the severe climate challenges, including devastating floods, droughts, record-breaking temperatures, violent storms, and water scarcity that the Middle East and Central Asia are currently grappling with. These issues are not only impacting the present but also jeopardizing the future of these regions.
Secondly, the workshop will discuss how best to write about these subjects, focusing on how to structure texts and arguments, researching topics, as well as different writing formats and styles and when to use these.
This training aims to enhance our collaboration with regional partners in the Middle East and expand our cooperation with the Central Asia region. Through capacity building and raising awareness, we seek to highlight and address climate issues that often go unnoticed due to ongoing conflicts in the area.
