IFLRY will hold its 54th General Assembly in Tallinn from the 15th until the 17th of November 2024. The General Assembly will gather member organizations from all over the world. The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of IFLRY and will, among other things, deal with:

The event will be supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF)

Registration for the General Assembly can be found here.

Make sure to register by the 27th of September! Contact your international officer to learn about the possibilities you have for attending the event on behalf of your member organization. We will accept applications on a rolling basis every week, so the sooner you register, the sooner you can go ahead and book tickets.

Each MO is guaranteed as many spots as they have votes in the General Assembly. Should an MO wish to send more delegates, please let us know via statutoryevent@iflry.org as soon as possible, so that we are aware and can jointly find a solution. In this case, we will confirm the delegates by the regular deadline. Please do not book any travel until your participation has been confirmed.

Participation fee and accommodation

The participation fee is 150 Euros. This will cover accommodation in a shared room for the nights of 15th until the 17th of November (two nights), and meals according to the schedule, which will be published at a later stage. If you would like a room to yourself, the participation fee in that case is 275 Euros.

If you live in Tallinn or, for other reasons, do not need accommodation, the participation fee will be 100 Euros.

OBS: You have to secure your accommodation and food if you are planning to stay for extra days in Tallinn.

There will also be an option to participate in the GA online.

Visas

Unfortunately, IFLRY is not able to cover any visa costs. Estonia is part of the Schengen Zone. Remember to check if you need a visa to enter the Schengen Zone. You can find visa information here. Please contact the IFLRY Office (office@iflry.org) if you need a support letter.

Travel reimbursement

There will be no travel reimbursement available for the IFLRY General Assembly. However, the IFLRY Office is able to provide you with a cover/support letter should you wish to privately fund-raise your travel.

Membership applications

If your organization is not yet a member organization of IFLRY, but you want to attend, please send an e-mail to the IFLRY secretariat (office@iflry.org) with a description of your organization before filling out this form. You can find the membership criteria here.

Voting Rights

As a reminder, a member organization’s voting rights may only be exercised if the member organization is in good financial standing with the federation, meaning they have paid their annual membership fees for the current year and the prior year. It is the responsibility of member organizations to pay their annual fees, and to confirm with the bureau that their fees have been paid. If a member organization is not in good financial standing, they are still welcome to attend the General Assembly, however they will do so in a non-voting capacity.
