IFLRY is bringing together plans to relaunch its journal ‘Libel’ as a new global blogging platform connecting our members in discussion from all over the world.
To do this we are looking for four Sub-Editors, drawn from our member organisations, to help launch this new platform and then be involved in the day to day running of the blog.
Responsibilities will include managing and editing article submissions, finding and managing contributors, generating ideas for content and proofreading submissions. To begin with the primary language of the blog will be English, but if you have good translation skills into another widely spoken language within the organisation then this would be very much welcomed and can help us reach a wider audience.
You should:
– read and write English confidently
– belong to a member organisation of IFLRY
– be willing to spend around 2 hours or so on Libel a week
To apply to be a Sub-Editor please send a short email detailing your interest and any relevant experience, as well as involvement with IFLRY, to (bobby.dean@iflry.org) and harriet.ainscough@liberalyouth.org by the 15th December.
Alternatively, if you are simply interested in contributing to the platform with a one-off piece or as a frequent writer, please get in touch with Bobby and Harriet to express an interest.
