The International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) has an internship available at its office in Berlin, to start as soon as possible.

IFLRY is an international youth organization seeking to globalise freedom in the world. IFLRY holds consultative status with several United Nations organs and is a vital player in the Council of Europe-youth sector. IFLRY is one of the oldest international liberal youth organization in the world, founded in 1947.

The intern will be working closely with IFLRY’s Executive Director, and will be mainly responsible for IFLRY’s joint projects with the Council of Europe, the Center Party Foundation of Sweden, and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. Your tasks:

– Assisting with current Projects and Events of IFLRY.

– Supporting logistics around the Projects and events (invitations, applications, participant selection, participant communication, event promotion, technical readers, etc) 

– Ensuring the office’s presence at designated events.

– Assist project coordination, evaluation and reporting.

– Other tasks as designated by the Executive Director.

Your profile

– Bachelor’s or Master’s student pursuing a degree in political science, international relations, social sciences or a related field (however, we are open to all applicants). You have student status in Germany

– Close to or native English language skills; any additional language skills will be considered an asset.

– Some experience in accounting and financial management is considered an asset.

– Some experience in project management and organizing events is considered an asset.

– Excellent understanding of common IT systems and packages, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. 

-Availability to travel.
