The Eastern Europe Programme evolved from the “Young Liberals for Belarus” network, established to support liberalism and democracy in Belarus later becoming “Belarus & Ukraine” programme before taking the shape it holds today. It now assists liberal partners in Eastern Europe, raising awareness of democracy and human rights issues. The programme organizes training and seminars on capacity-building, campaigning, political education and liberal ideology, providing practical help to partner organizations. It cooperates closely now with the Caucasus Programme implementing online and offline seminars in the region. It also runs campaigns and manages social media to inform members about the regional situation.
