Since July 2013 Sandra Ahtola has been an intern at the IFLRY office in London. She has already passed on the torch to the new intern Ninah Genc who started her internship in January 2014. IFLRY would like to thank Sandra for her great work and dedication during her 6 months of internship and also welcome Ninah and wish her the best of luck with her internship.
Ninah Genc 21 years old, was born in Helsinki the capital of Finland, but moved to her hometown Vaasa at the age of 6 and lived there until the age of 19.
Growing up, world politics, especially human rights has been really important for Ninah. Having her mother from Finland and father from Turkey has also made her more open minded and understanding towards different cultures. Currently Ninah is studying human rights law and international relations at the University of Abo Akademi in Turku.
“I see my internship at IFLRY as a great opportunity towards becoming a diplomat one day and I am sure that I will have a wonderful time during my internship, learning and growing together with this big liberal family, fighting for liberal rights”
You can contact the interns by e-mail: intern@iflry.org.
IFLRY would also like to thank the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland for this successful internship program.
